Kindness Rocks! Craft Event

Join us at the Franklin Lakes Public Library for a fun-filled event promoting kindness with a creative twist! Children in grades K and above are invited to express their artistic talents while spreading messages of kindness through rock painting.

Location:

Franklin Lakes Public Library - Raddin Room

Event Description:

At the Kindness Rocks! Craft Event, children will have the opportunity to unleash their inner artists and create beautiful painted rocks that carry messages of kindness. This engaging activity serves as a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can brighten someone's day.

The event will kick off with a brief introduction on the importance of kindness in our daily lives. We will provide a variety of rocks, paints, brushes, and other materials needed for the craft. Our friendly staff will be available to guide participants, offering tips and inspiration for their artwork.

Children will have the freedom to let their creativity soar as they paint uplifting images, positive quotes, or kind messages on their rocks. Once completed, they can take their masterpieces home to share with friends and family or leave them in random locations within the community, spreading joy and positivity to unexpected places.

Parents or guardians are welcome to join in and assist their children with the craft. Siblings outside the designated grades are also welcome to participate.

No registration is required for this event, and it is absolutely free of charge. Just drop by the Franklin Lakes Public Library on Saturday, December 9th, and get ready to spread kindness one painted rock at a time!

We look forward to seeing you and your little artists there!
