Summer Reading Challenge

This year’s slogan is “Adventure begins at your library!”

The Summer Reading Challenge is a recreational literacy program for community members of all ages. The library has options for children, teens, and adults. This free program is available to the community thanks to support from the Friends of the Library. Anyone with a valid Cranford Public Library card is welcome to participate.

Children track their reading online or in paper logs (please choose one format and stick with it). Visit https://cranfordlibrary.beanstack.com/ or download the Beanstack Tracker app to record reading online. Everyone who participates should record the amount of time they spend reading each day. We want to encourage the practice of reading, there are no reading requirements or required titles. Read what you like!

At the end of the summer, we celebrate readers with a Summer Reading party! This year’s party will be held on Thursday, August 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
